ABOUT THE PROJECT
The goal was to create the cover image of “The Sunken Garden”, a fantasy novel that invites the reader to look beyond the visible and to perceive the beauty in everything around us. A poetic and mysterious tale about magic, and the delicate line between the seen and the hidden.
THE CONCEPT
A strange young man, within whom the sky dwells, emerges from the depths of nature to contemplate a hidden moment. Perhaps he himself is the creator of that moment, or he may simply be enjoying the magic that sometimes escapes us.
The aim was to create a luminous image that conveys stillness, calm, and mystery, with a relaxing color palette dominated by blues and greens, in which, through chromatic contrast, the viewer’s gaze is naturally drawn toward the small fish. The direction of the character’s gaze reinforces this visual path, guiding the viewer to that focal point and emphasizing its presence.
